Since 2002, SmartPractice and SmartScrubs have held a golf tournament annually to raise funds for charitable organizations in Phoenix and surrounding communities. A partnership was developed with Arizona Dental Foundation’s (AzDF) Give Kids a Smile® project in 2006. As a component society of the American Dental Association (ADA), the AzDF organizes Give Kids A Smile Days at local schools to provide dental educations and cleanings for hundreds of children in a single day.
This years event took place on April 19th at the beautiful McCormick Ranch Golf Club. Thanks to our sponsors, participants and volunteers the 2013 Smart Scramble Charity golf tournament raised $30,000 for the Give Kids a Smile® project.
Support from sponsors in the dental, health care, corporate and local businesses make this annual event possible. Since 2006, SmartScramble has contributed $130,000 to Give Kids A Smile (GKAS).
